Birds can cause problems for us in various ways.

Our most common call out is because of bird droppings. Noise can be another issue as can the fear that a lot of people have of birds.

All birds are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. However, some birds can be controlled under the terms of a General Licence issued each year by DEFRA.

The birds on the licence can only be controlled by certain methods for certain prescribed reasons. It's not as simple as shooting the pigeons because they wake you up in the morning.

We fully comply with the terms of the General Licence and would need to discuss options before resorting to culling. Most of our methods are aimed at displacing the birds rather than culling.
